In the beginning...

s been more defining than what I've learned about other people. The biggest takeaway I have

from the entire COVID-19 experience is this: Humans need other humans.

Wait, what? I've been living in near-physical isolation for over a year. Jason does the errands, my medical appointments are primarily virtual, and while Anastasia has been remote-learning, she spends the majority of her teenage life in her bedroom. And I'm not the only person that has lived this way. I enjoy being in my home. Truly, I love that there are no expectations put on me to show up anywhere on

anyone else's schedule. I have more than enough supplies to do nothing but make hand crafted goods for the next ten years! I appreciate spending so much time on the things that I enjoy doing. Yet, I've joined a few dozen social media groups for a variety of interests. Not a day has passed that I haven't chatted or texted with a minimum of five others. I've become a regular watcher of several "Live" sales shows on social media sites. Why?

Humans need other humans.

And that's OK.

As I continue to add to this blog, I can only hope that other humans will be able to find something of what they need from my words, my thoughts, and my seemingly endless archive of completely random knowledge.

Just a warning, though.... I tend to break every mold, go against all the norms, and create my own happy space. By allowing you into my happy space, I'm inviting you to also explore your own creativity and find your own happy space to live your best life. Everything I post is intended to lift, elevate, heighten, and enhance the magick inside of everyone. Let yourself find that magick, and then let that magick shine!
